"I ordered a couple of used records..."
I ordered a couple of used records from amoeba.com, the grading was right about where I’d expect it to be. One was marked VG+, and that felt fair to me — it had a few light marks, but nothing alarming, and it played clean without any big pops or issues.

Shipping was solid too, with good packing and no corner damage when it arrived. I don’t expect used records to be perfect, but I do appreciate when they’re described accurately, and this order felt honest overall. I’d be fine ordering from them again

I’ve ordered from amoeba.com a handful of times now, it’s been a relief every time. I’ll admit, I always get a little nervous ordering online, especially when I’m waiting for tracking or checking the final price, but nothing weird has ever happened here. My orders showed up fine, the prices were exactly what I expected, and the emails were clear enough to keep me from stressing. It’s not some flashy experience or anything, but in a good way, it just feels solid and legit, and that makes me feel comfortable going back

I ordered a couple of records from amoeba.com, and I was happy with how they packed my stuff. The mailer felt sturdy, the corners were protected, and nothing I got was bent or crushed, which is what I care about most. One sleeve had a tiny bit of dust on it, but that didn’t really bother me since that feels normal. Shipping took a few days, but my records arrived in good shape, so I’m good with it. I’d order from them again.

"Helpful, easy to deal with, and kept me as a customer"
I had a small issue with my order and figured I might have to stop ordering from Amoeba if it turned into a hassle. I emailed them not expecting much, but they got back to me quickly and were actually really nice about it. They fixed the problem without making me jump through a bunch of hoops, which I really appreciated. The whole thing was just easy, and that’s probably why I’d order from them again.

I was fully prepared for the final total to jump once shipping showed up, but nope, the prices were actually better than I expected. I found a few records cheaper here than at other places, which felt like a small victory.

"Works, but whoever runs this needs to smooth it out"
The site is okay overall, but it definitely feels clunky when you're trying to browse around. Search usually does the job, but the filters could be way clearer, and some pages load slower than they should. It’s still usable if you already know what you’re looking for, but whoever runs this really needs to clean things up a bit.

I ordered a used vinyl and it was the real pressing they had listed, not some weird bootleg or wrong version. The sleeve looked like the photos too, which was nice. Shipping did take a little longer then I hoped, but the record was legit so I’m happy with it...

"Communication was absolutely just okay"
I ordered from Amoeba Music and the item showed up totally fine, no real issues there. But the communication was 100% on the slow side. I had to wait a while for a reply, and when I finally got one, it definitely wasn’t packed with details or anything. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just very clearly nothing amazing either. I’d probably order again, but only if I’m absolutely not in a rush.

"Usually Really Solid, I Think"
I mostly use amoeba.com to look up records and movies before I decide to buy, and their inventory is good most of the time. I feel like I’ve found a few things there that were sold out everywhere else, unless I’m just remembering that too generously. There have been a couple times where something showed as available and then was gone by the time I ordered, which was kind of frustrating. But overall, I’ve had a good experience with them. I’d give it 4 stars...
